Happiness Is My Decision

“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” Marcus Aurelius

Listen to Today’s Affirmative Knowing

“You cannot consistently feed your consciousness thoughts of Oneness without eventually living from a Consciousness of Oneness.”

God is here. Divine Life fills the visible and the unseen with Its living Goodness. There is nowhere I can stand outside this sacred reality. I live within God and God is present within the experience of being alive.
I belong to this magnificent Whole. I feel the closeness of Source within ordinary moments. I breathe and recognize Life. I look around and know that I am participating in something sacred.
I affirm my consciousness is overflowing with the happiness of the Spirit. Happiness is alive within me and I give myself full permission to enjoy it. I wake up to the pleasure contained in this day. I discover reasons to feel good in places I might once have hurried past. A laugh becomes something to savor. A beautiful moment gets to linger. I enjoy people I love and experiences that bring me pleasure. I celebrate what is working and appreciate what is unfolding. I allow happiness to become familiar territory within my consciousness. This is how I choose to experience my life. Happiness stays with me always because I say so.
I am grateful to be alive and able to experience the goodness of this day. Thank you, God, for the happiness I am right now.
I carry this knowing gently into my day. Happiness is mine to live and I gladly live it. And so it is!

Insight & Practuce Option

Decide that happiness gets your attention. When something makes you smile, stay with it for a few extra seconds instead of immediately moving on. Notice the good meal, the funny conversation, the favorite song, the beautiful view or the simple pleasure that might normally pass unnoticed. Tonight, remember three moments when you consciously allowed yourself to be happy.
